This Terms of Service agreement (“Agreement”) governs your access and use of The Blockat platform (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a digital marketplace for textiles and tailoring services operating in Kuwait and the GCC.

1.1. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or using the platform under the supervision of a legal guardian to register or make purchases.

1.2. Account Registration
Users and vendors must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration. Misuse or fraudulent activity may result in account suspension.

1.3. Vendor Responsibilities
Vendors are responsible for the quality, legality, and delivery of products and services they offer. Vendors agree to honor all bookings, prices, and terms displayed on their storefront.

1.4. Payment and Fees
We collect payments on behalf of vendors through authorized third-party processors. Commission, subscription, and listing fees will apply as selected by the vendor.

1.5. Refunds and Disputes
Refunds are managed per vendor policy, reviewed and processed by The Blockat if requested. Disputes must be raised within 5 days of order delivery.

1.6. Platform Rights
We reserve the right to suspend or remove users/vendors violating terms, abuse policies, or harming the platform’s reputation.

1.7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait.

This Vendor Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the responsibilities, rights, and obligations of vendors using The Blockat marketplace platform in compliance with Kuwaiti law.

3.1. Vendor Eligibility
Vendors must operate a legally recognized business in Kuwait or the GCC. Proof of identity and business license may be required for verification.

3.2. Onboarding Requirements
Vendors must provide valid business information, bank details for payouts, product descriptions, and service terms. The Blockat may reject or suspend listings that do not comply with marketplace standards.

3.3. Product & Service Standards
Vendors must ensure accurate listings, reasonable pricing, timely delivery, and quality of service. Misrepresentation or repeated negative feedback may result in penalties or removal.

3.4. Fees and Payments
Vendors agree to the commission, subscription, and service fees as outlined in their selected vendor package. Payouts are processed weekly or monthly based on total transactions.

3.5. Order Fulfillment
Vendors are responsible for preparing, packaging, and coordinating delivery for each order. The Blockat may assist with logistics through in-house or third-party couriers.

3.6. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes between vendors and customers, The Blockat will act as a mediator. Refunds may be processed at the platform’s discretion.

3.7. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement with written notice. Vendors must fulfill all open orders and comply with outstanding settlements.

3.8. Legal Compliance
Vendors agree to comply with Kuwaiti commercial laws, eCommerce policies, and consumer protection guidelines.

🧵 1. Return Eligibility – Textile Products

Customers may return textile items if they meet the following conditions:

  • The product is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging.

  • The return request is submitted within 3 days of receiving the order.

  • The product has a manufacturing defect or does not match the product description or image.

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Fabrics that have been cut, altered, stitched, or customized.

  • Clearance or final sale items (clearly marked).

✂️ 2. Refund Policy – Tailoring Services

Tailoring services are non-refundable once work has begun, unless:

  • The delivered garment is significantly different from the booking request.

  • The service was not delivered by the promised date and no resolution was provided within 48 hours.

  • The customer cancels the booking at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled service.

If eligible, partial or full refunds may be approved at The Blockat’s discretion following vendor review.

🚚 3. Return Process

To request a return or refund:

  1. Log in to your account on The Blockat.

  2. Go to My Orders > Select the item > Click Request Return/Refund.

  3. Provide a reason and attach photos if needed.

  4. Our team will review and respond within 48 hours.

If approved, we will:

  • Arrange return pickup via our logistics partner (for fabric orders).

  • Coordinate with the tailor for service-related resolutions.

💳 4. Refund Method & Timeline

  • Refunds will be issued via the original payment method (Tap, MyFatoorah, Stripe, etc.).

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

5. Disputes & Escalations

If you’re unsatisfied with a vendor’s response or the outcome of a return/refund request, you may escalate the case to our admin team via:

We reserve the right to investigate each case individually and make final decisions based on platform policy and evidence submitted.

📌 Important Notes

  • Return shipping costs are covered by The Blockat only if the item is defective or incorrect.

  • Vendors are expected to honor refund policies. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.
